TRANSITION OF CANON SYLVESTER O’DONNELL

Canon Sylvester O’Donnell, our Parish Priest of this Parish- 1982-1986. He passed away on the 6th of October, the funeral arrangements is as follow:


Monday 10 October: Reception of body and Evening Prayer – Our Lady of Margam Church, Port Talbot @ 18.30 hrs
Tuesday 11 October: Requiem Mass –St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Swansea @ 11.30 hrs.

Reception and Funeral of John 'Jack' Rees

TRANSITION: With gratitude to God for a life well spent, I formally announce the passing away of John REES, a devoted and dedicated member of our Parish. His funeral arrangement is as follow:

Monday 25th @ 4:00pm reception of the body into the Church (BP)
Tuesday 26th @ 10:00am Requiem Mass (BP)

Sad News: Jack Rees R.I.P.

Some very sad news this evening from Fr. Benedict Koledoye:

"Jack Rees passed on this evening after being fortified with the rites of the Church. His death is our loss but certainly Heaven's gain.

"There will be sacrifice of Holy Mass for the repose of his soul tomorrow [Tuesday] at 8.45am.

"Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.

"Jack's funeral will be announced later by his family."

REQUIEM MASS – GRAHAM SAMUEL:

The funeral mass for Graham Samuel will take place on Tuesday, 26th October, 2010 at 2.00pm. Rev. Fr. Owen McGrael from Tenby will preside. Let us specially remember in our personal prayers Mr. (Late) Graham Samuel, Mrs. Sandra Samuel and the family at this time of their loss.

Please do note the change of time for the day’s mass.

Sister Margaret RIP

Please pray for the Repose of the Soul of Sister Margaret who sadly passed away last week.

Her requiem Mass was on Monday in Our Lady Queen of Peace, Llanelli.

Mrs. Margaret Thomas, her daughters Julia and Andrea and families, would like to express their sincere gratitude to Father Thomas, all friends and parishioners for the kindness shown to them on the recent very sad bereavement of their much loved son and brother, Ronnie Thomas. They would like everyone to know that the concern, sympathy and caring shown to them by all, was a great comfort at a very sad and difficult time and will not be forgotten.
