May all the parishioners and visitors to the Catholic Parish of Burry Port & Kidwelly have a very happy and Holy St Joseph's Day.Our own Bishop Emeritus Mullins, who we are so lucky and fortunate to have in our parish, has a special devotion to St Joseph, who lived such a humble, hard-working and Holy life as an example for us all.
Joseph is the patron of the dying because, assuming he died before Jesus’ public life, he died with Jesus and Mary close to him, the way we all would like to leave this earth.
Joseph is also patron of the universal Church, fathers, carpenters, and social justice.
